Bontoc healing plants Jo will present her work at the 1st Annual Indigenous Health and Healing Conference hosted by graduate students at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto on June 11, 2011.
Jo's keynote presentation, singing plants as healing plants will explore how she incorporates indigenous cultural knowledge in her artwork and how this practice can nurture healing, strengthen communities, and help us understand our interconnectedness to the ecosystem.
